Maybelline Superstay 24H Foundation
received some great reviews when it was first released and as someone who loves a full coverage foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear is my all-time favourite), I really wanted to try it out. I'm always on the lookout for an amazing budget-friendly foundation that I can wear every day and at £9.99 the Maybelline Superstay Foundation seemed like a great option.
This foundation claims to be full coverage with a soft-matte finish that'll wear for up to 24 hours which all sounds incredible! I picked up the shade Ivory which is a pretty good match for my skintone, I probably could have chosen a lighter shade but I don't like looking too pale so sometimes I like something the tiniest bit darker than my skin. The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a white cap (it also comes with a pump which is always appreciated), it looks very simple and clean which I like.
This foundation is very easy to apply and blend and it gives great coverage which is also buildable. You'll definitely be able to see that you're wearing foundation but it doesn't look cakey or heavy, it also doesn't set too matte so the skin still looks healthy and fresh. I really love how this foundation looks and it wears well throughout the day but I definitely don't think it would last 24 hours, my skin does get oily on my t-zone so I do need to add a little powder during the day but I typically do this anyway with my other foundations. Overall, I think this is a really lovely foundation and I will definitely be picking this up again in the future.
